Remembering long-time SPAAR member Tom Keyes
Long-time St. Paul Area Association of REALTORSĀ® (SPAAR) member Tom Keyes passed away on Dec. 28 of pulmonary fibrosis.
Tom joined the real estate industry in 2004, according to his obituary, after working in technology and banking for 35 years. He became a SPAAR member in 2003 and was active in many capacities including, most recently for 2017, serving as chair of the professionalism committee and co-chair of the government affairs committee. He also served on SPAAR's Board of Directors.
"Tom was a very decent, kind man," said John Fridlington, CEO at SPAAR. "The world is better because of him. He leaves an incredible legacy."
In addition to Tom's membership at the local level, he was involved in both the state and national REALTORĀ® associations. The picture, at left, shows Tom holding awards he received at SPAAR's 2016 Winter Social.
Tom was an agent with Edina Realty in Roseville.
