Dear Friends and Supporters of CVJHP,

2017 has been a year of great success for CVJHP! Thanks to your support we achieved a major milestone. Since our inception in 2008, CVJHP has encouraged the government to enact legislation to protect Jewish heritage sites. In June of this year, the Government of Cape Verde officially classified its nation's Jewish cemeteries and other places of Jewish memory as "National Historical and Cultural Patrimony" or "Património Histórico e Cultural Nacional." CVJHP is so grateful for this symbolic and legal gesture.

Thanks to our generous donors, we had a successful 2017. As you finalize your charitable giving for the year, we'd be most grateful if you'd make a donation to CVJHP, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. You will make a difference and can take pride in the "mitzvah" of honoring and preserving the memory of Cape Verde's Jews and their descendants. If not now, when?
