A Word from Marion Warren

May 20, 2017

Dearest Evangelists,

Greetings in the Matchless Name of Jesus!

I just sat down to write you a few lines and these words came to mind...
"This world is not my home - I'm just passing through...and I can't feel at home in this world anymore."  -- Albert E. Brumley

I am sure most of us remember that song.  My hopeful encouraging words are these -- no, this is not my home and therefore I don't feel at home here BUT my Lord has assigned me here until He calls or comes for me.
Also He said, with His assignment -- "I will never leave you nor forsake you."    Deuteronomy 31:6, Joshua 1:5, Hebrews 13:5.  He also said, "Cast all your care upon Me for I care for you." I Peter 5:7

As you obviously know, His glorious Book is full of these promises, but  one more is absolutely necessary.  Remember this one?  "Let not your heart be troubled...I am going to prepare a place for you; I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am there you may be also.  And where I go you know and The Way you know."  John 14.

Tied to these glorious promises are these necessary preparations -- none of us wants to be found unforgiven nor unforgiving.  Yes, we are going, but please, my Lord, let not one of us be unprepared!!

Your friend and brother,

Marion
