Ivymount teachers never stop learning!

On January 26th some of our Social Studies teachers will be attending an evening Teacher's Workshop at The National Museum of the American Indian.

Through hands-on learning, they will explore how traditional Native American games in the classroom help build community, are culturally relevant, and support learning across disciplines. The museum  provides opportunities to engage with Native games experts, deepen their knowledge of Native cultures, and have fun!

Please mark your calendar for MANSEF Advocacy Day

Spend a morning in Annapolis meeting with your legislators and telling them  about the important role MANSEF schools play in Maryland's educational  continuum and thanking them for their support.

When: Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from  10 to 11 a.m. (appointments with legislators begin at 11 a.m.)

Where: Lowe House Office Building

Our quarterly box top contest has returned! Please continue to clip, save, and submit box tops to your classroom teacher. Our classroom contest will run through February 15th.   The classroom that submits the most box tops will receive a prize.
