Give shelter today, #GivingTuesday
Give shelter from the cold

Starting today, #GivingTuesday, the DRC will work night and day to help people who are homeless.

Join us and provide lifesaving winter shelter with your #GivingTuesday gift to the DRC. Here's how your dollars can bring people in from the cold.

Emergency winter night shelter
For the second year, the DRC will provide overnight shelter when temperatures drop to dangerous lows and other shelters are full. You probably read about our winter night shelter program in the Star-Telegram .

Room in the Inn
Room in the Inn unites the DRC and houses of worship to shelter people who are homeless in winter and summer. Through Room in the Inn, congregations provide homeless guests a hot meal, good company and a place to spend a safe, silent night away from the streets or crowded shelters.

Day shelter, housing and more
Winter shelter programs are only a few of the DRC's community-based services for people experiencing homelessness. The DRC provides year-round day shelter, housing and other groundbreaking programs that reach more people than ever through partner sites around town and at our shelter at 1415 E. Lancaster Ave.
