Meet Your Councilmembers: Joshiah Dodge
We're continuing to feature a Castle Pines Councilmember each month in order to get to know them better.

In May, we sat down with Joshiah Dodge who has lived in Castle Pines since April 2013 and represents Ward 2, to learn more about him.

What's your favorite part about living in Castle Pines?
I love our quiet and secluded neighborhoods!

What 2017 City project are you most excited about?
Working with the City and community to enhance the image of Castle Pines with current economic development initiatives and to increase the level of services and functions that are brought to the City.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I truly enjoy spending time with my family and friends, working out, playing golf and doing home improvement projects around the house.

What's one thing people may not know about you?
I grew up in a large family in upstate New York with six other siblings! Also, I come from a long line of public servants - my great-great grandfather was the mayor of Buffalo, NY in the mid-1920s.

"No Solicitation" Stickers Available
With the exception of non-profit agencies like girl scout and boy scout organizations, it is against the law for salesmen to go door-to-door without obtaining a permit from Douglas County first. Residents may call the Sheriff's Office non-emergency line at 303-660-7500 to report unlicensed solicitors or report suspicious activity. Residents may also pick up a "No Solicitation" sticker at the City offices, 360 Village Square Lane, Castle Pines,  to place near the front door, to discourage solicitors at your home
