New Knitting Group
On
Monday, May 8th from 6-8pm
the new knitting group will meet
in the Trustees Room. This group is open to anyone who has a love for knitting and crocheting. All levels are welcome! Please bring your precious works-in-progress and any finished objects you would like to show off to the group.

A Walk Through the Delta: Acoustic blues by Howard Stith and Mike Rogers
Don't miss this musical show on
Tuesday, May 16th at 7pm
by two veteran performers! "Poor Howard" Stith has been performing 12-string barrelhouse blues for over forty years. Recently, Howard has teamed up with harmonica player, Mike "Bullfrog" Rogers, a forty year veteran whose styles range from folk to blues.

An Evening of Poetry
The Dover Public Library cordially invites you to attend an "Evening of Poetry" on
Monday, May 22nd at 6:30pm
in the Library Lecture Hall. All students who participated in the Library's 15th Annual Poetry Contest, for grades K-12, are invited to read their poetry at this event, but this will be purely voluntary. The general public is encouraged to come and enjoy the readings. Prizes will be distributed in six different grade categories: K-2, 3 & 4, 5 & 6, 7 & 8, 9 & 10, and 11 & 12. Zombie Escape Room
Save Dover from the Zombie Apocalypse!
Teens
are invited to join us on
Wednesday, May 24 at 6pm
and a
dults
later
that night at 7pm
for a zombie themed Escape Room! An Escape Room is an interactive game where participants work as a team to escape the locked room by cracking codes and solving puzzles.

Piano Take-Apart Workshop Saturday, May 27th at 10am
The Library received the donation of a beautiful Steinway baby grand piano which we are thrilled about. Please help us say goodbye to our old piano at a Take-Apart Piano Workshop on
Saturday, May 27th at 10am
with Peter Poole. Mr. Poole, a local piano expert will be on hand to teach participants about the inner workings of a piano. Don't miss this unique opportunity to learn about the parts of a piano first hand! We encourage kids in grades 3 and up to register to be involved with the take-apart fun, and adults are welcome to come and watch.For more information visit the library website

Free Weekly Audiobook
Every summer Audiofile Magazine presents free downloadable audiobooks geared to teens and adults. This year's program starts in April and runs for 16 weeks into August. Each Thursday a new pair of titles are made available to download for FREE. They frequently will pair a "classic" with a modern book that has similar themes.
