Holy Rosary School

Dear Holy Rosary School Community,

It has been a wonderful week of events for our students.  We congratulate and bless all our second graders on their Journey with Jesus as they received their First Holy Communion on Saturday, May 13.

Our 8th graders are having an amazing outdoor retreat experience in Tuolumne County as they prepare to graduate from Holy Rosary School.

Next week, we look forward to a fun-filled Spirit Week planned and prepared by our faculty and staff.

Peace and blessings!

We are conducting a feasibility study on opening a Christ-Centered Child Development Center at Holy Rosary, serving children ages 2-3 years old. If you are interested in this study, please click here to complete the survey.  Thank you!

Dimalanta Family
Memorial Scholarship

Dear Holy Rosary Families,
We are so blessed to offer the Dimalanta Family Memorial Scholarship for the third year.  This scholarship honors the legacy of my grandparents, Felipe and Brigida Dimalanta.  Through their example, they instilled in their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren the importance of faith, family and education.  It is with the sincere hope of continuing their legacy that we offer this scholarship to Holy Rosary students.
This scholarship is open to current fourth through seventh graders who are enrolled at Holy Rosary for the 2017-2018 school year.  Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better.  There is no income requirement.

ESSAY TOPIC 1:
Some of the most memorable moments in life are connected to family.
Please share the most memorable moment you have experienced with your family. What made it special? How did it impact you? How does it reflect your family values?
Please remember that memorable moments can be large events or small, everyday occurrences. Sometimes the most meaningful experiences are simple and easy to overlook.

ESSAY TOPIC 2:
What is the strongest belief that you have? What specific events in your life led you to this belief? What positions directly conflict with this belief, and have you ever tried to see things from other peoples' perspectives?
Does seeing things from other peoples' perspectives weaken your strongly-held belief in any way? Does it make your belief stronger?
Why are beliefs important, and do you think they should ever change?
