The Office of International Affairs collaborates with the Gateway Film Center to host a monthly international film series. Students will have the chance to view films from around the world for free!
May's feature is, The Woods Dreams are Made of, by French film director, Claire Simon.
The film is an engaging and constantly surprising documentary about the diverse people that live in the Bois de Vincennes, a sprawling park on Paris's southeast edge, where all seem to find solace and meaning in the sometimes eccentric activities that bring them to the woods. Watch the Trailer.
The film will be shown on Wednesday, May 24 at 7 p.m. at the Gateway Film Center. The director will be available for a Q&A session after the screening!
In order to get free admission, show your student BuckID at the front desk when you arrive at the Gateway Film Center and ask for a Global Engagement voucher.
The first 30 students will also receive free popcorn and soda! Admission is offered at regular price to the public.
