Rainbow Graduation

Please join the UC San Diego LGBT community as we come together to honor the students who are graduating, our volunteers, our scholarship recipients and all who have impacted our community over the last year.

The event serves as the formal induction of the graduates into the family of the UC San Diego LGBT Alumni. Although many people do get dressed up for the event, it tends to be a queer little get together, with all the trappings of our community, so be yourself.

April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). The goal of SAAM is to raise awareness of sexual violence and to educate communities and individuals on how to prevent sexual violence.

From Crisis to Change: How to Organize for Action

Following up on the interest in the UC San Diego Library's Tell Us How UC It: A Living Archive project, this two-part training will discuss the history of UC San Diego as it relates to current campus climate, social change, and activism. It will be followed by concrete skills-building to learn the basic principles of direct action organizing. Students will learn the strategies, tools, and organizing math behind direct action that leads to victories for our communities. Pizza will be served.

This program is also part of the T+LC's spring 2017 Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship program. Participation in any of these workshops gives students credit on their co-curricular record (CCR).
