People must not only hear about the kingdom of God, but must see it in actual operation, on a small scale perhaps and in imperfect form, but a real demonstration nevertheless.

Update on guests (current and past) from our MSW Intern
I just wanted to give a quick family update.

We are currently full with three families and all of our families are doing well! We have an all female shelter right now and our moms are all working hard to save up for rent deposits. All of our children are also doing well in school and day care.

We have also received plenty good news from many of our past guests recently. We had three former guests stop in to give updates on their success after completing our shelter program.

One past guest (completed IHN in 2016, single mom of 1 child) was excited to share that she just bought a car! From her experience at IHNA, she was able to gain valuable budgeting skills and was able to make this exciting purchase. Also since finishing our shelter program, she has finished her degree from Athens Tech in Health Information Management! She was able to do so through our partnership with Action Inc. and was excited about interviewing for new job prospects due to her new degree.

Another former guest (completed IHN in 2014, single mom 3 kids) stopped in to say "Hi" to Regina. This former guest wanted to share a new family photo with Regina to celebrate this new season with her kids. This former guest also inquired about volunteer opportunities and volunteer training, as she wants to give back to the organization that helped her so greatly.

Another former guest (completed IHN in 2015, single mom 2 kids) stopped in to borrow a car seat for her growing child. After leaving our program, she was able to save up money and purchase a car. She was thankful that IHNA had this resource so she could be able to transport her children to school as her youngest will be starting kindergarten in August!

We always want to thank our board, staff, and volunteers, because your contributions to IHNA have a lasting impact on our guest families!

31 IHNA congregations and counting...
As of today we have 31 congregations who are partnering with IHNA as a host or support congregation! We welcome The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a new host congregation. The Christian Science Church and Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church are joining us as support congregations. We are excited about our new partnerships!

It is also exciting that we have at least 4 more congregations who are thinking of joining us in our work to care for homeless children and their families. We are very grateful for the support of all of these congregations. Thank YOU! Here is our current list of congregations:
