COMING THIS MONTH...
  • The virtue in Kidz Church for the month of May is Determination, which means we will be learning about "Deciding it's worth it, to finish what you started".
     
  • The Bible Bucks Store will be open this weekend, May 7th & 8th. 
WHAT WILL MY CHILD LEARN THIS MONTH?

WEEK 1 - May 7th & 8th
Bottom Line: Keep going even when it gets hard. Life will be difficult. As much as we might try, we can't escape hardships. But in those times, we can trust God to give us what we need to show determination and keep going.

WEEK 2 - May 14th & 15th
Bottom Line: Keep going even when the job is bigger than you think. There are times we start a job and soon realize that it will be a much larger endeavor. Our first instinct might be to give up all together, but we need to keep going. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we can push through and show determination right up until the end.

WEEK 3 - May 21st & 22nd
Bottom Line: God gives you what you need to keep going. We pray that through this lesson, kids will realize all they have available to them right now to help them show determination when they feel like giving up.

WEEK 4 - May 28th & 29th
Bottom Line: Keep going because God knows the end of the story. Showing determination in the face of difficult situations is never easy. However, because of Jesus we have a hope that God will make all things new and someday everything will make sense once and for all. God does know the end of the story, and we can trust Him no matter what.
Kidz Church Service Project

For the past year, in Kidz Church we have been partnering with York County Shelter Programs through our offering. We have a special opportunity on May 20th to partner with them to by volunteering at their 5K race, and help with any projects we can do while we are there. This opportunity would be starting at 8:30 to noon. We believe this would be an amazing opportunity for families to come together and serve together. We would love any family that would like to come serve along side us.

THREE MEALTIME QUESTIONS THAT CHANGE EVERYTHING (INCLUDING THE QUALITY OF YOUR FOOD)

Just kidding about that last part, but they could change a lot of things about how you talk about faith.

If your house is anything like mine, the bath time and bedtime routine can often turn into a soul-sucking vortex of blood, sweat, and tears. All evening long, I feel like I'm herding cats. But not even nice cats. I'm talking about the mean kind of cats who hiss and scratch and ignore you when you speak.

CAMP CURTIS LAKE
 
Camp Curtis Lake is a great way for kids in grades K-6 to spend their summer in an environment that is fun and engaging. At Camp Curtis Lake kids will participate in a wide variety of activities that are designed to teach new skills, help them feel at home in the outdoors, increase confidence through health achievement, and have fun. Weekly activities will include swimming, crafts, games, sports, field trips, outdoor living skills, and a weekly field trip.

Program Hours: 6:30am - 6:00pm
Sessions are offered weekly throughout the entire summer.
