It's hard to believe, but the Second Anniversary of An Unlikely Story is coming up soon! We're making plans for a two day birthday party on Sunday, May 28th and Monday, May 29th, including selfies with the Greg Heffley statue, and unique give-aways. 11:00am - Elephant and Piggie StoryTime
(Recommended for ages 2 and up)
Join us for an Elephant and Piggie Party! We will read some of our favorite Elephant and Piggie titles, hand out Elephant and Piggie tattoos, and make Elephant and Piggie puppets.
1:00pm - Celebration of Little Golden Books
(Recommended for children ages 5 and up)
This afternoon we will celebrate the 75th anniversary of Little Golden Books. We will have a display of many beloved titles for children and their families to explore; read some of our favorites; children can create Little Golden books using their own stories and illustrations.

It's the story of an elderly Schnauzer on his last legs, and the miraculous transformation that took place when he moved in with Tom and Atticus. Connect with Nature with an afternoon of crafting! We will use Y-shaped branches to create our own branch weavings, or "magic wands." To personalize your wand, bring your own special stick, flowers, or leaves from around your house; this will increase your wand's power! All materials will be provided.

Join the Unlikely Strummers for a 7-week fundamentals of ukulele workshop. No prior
musical experience is necessary. Bring your own Soprano or Alto/Concert ukelele and music stand. This workshop is for ages 16+. Class dates are: 5/9, 5/16, 5/23, 5.30, 6/6, 6/20 & 6/27.

Now, imagine you are also autistic and feel safest when there is order and routine. This describes some of what Ginny has experienced. She is the type of character who at times will make you want to give her a hug, at times will make you laugh, other times she will frustrate you but always she will make you root for her! Benjamin Ludwig has created a moving and thought provoking novel.

The beginning of the story of Jim and Eva starts the same in each of the three versions: Eva riding her bike through Cambridge, a small dog running across the path, and Jim strolling by with a book. Where each of the three versions goes from there are completely different stories of a lifelong relationship spanning through the fifties, sixties and seventies up to present day. You are drawn into the characters that much deeper by seeing how they handle the different experiences in each life. This novel is so magical, so well done, you will want all of your friends to read it so you can talk about it with them.
