The 2017 Apple Academy is coming to Lansing, MI, June 27-29, 2017 and you can be a part of this transforming, no cost* 3 day event!

Benefits from the Academy include: 
  • Understand the Apple Professional Learning Specialist approach to creating an open learning environment.  
  • Access to Apple Professional Learning content for two years and earn the Apple Education Trainer Logo.  
  • Access to Apple Professional Learning Specialist delivery team.
You qualify to apply if: 
  • Your school district/ISD has purchased Apple products from the TRIG Device Purchasing SPOT bid during the last 4 years.  
  • You have earned all 8 Apple Teacher badges in either iPad and/or Mac (don't worry - there's still time to get these badges! Go to appleteacher.apple.com, earn your badges and submit an image capture of your personal Apple Teacher profile page to [email protected])
  • Applicants must be willing to train others in their organization in the use of Apple tools.

Reminder:  The  EduPaths deadline to submit SCECHs to MOECS  is May 15th! To make sure you meet the June 30th deadline for re-certification, don't delay - 
get started today!
 
The latest round of courses on EduPaths.org was just published. There are now 12 new courses, most available for SCECHs at no cost. These courses cover a variety of topics, including NGSS, special education, inquiry learning, collaboration, and more! Our deadline to submit SCECHs to MOECS to make sure you meet the June 30th deadline for recertification is May 15th.

All public school districts, public school academies, non-public K-12 schools, pre-school buildings, intermediate school districts, and Michigan public libraries are eligible to purchase off of the 2017 REMC Association Device Purchasing Bid Contract. This year there are 43 mobile and desktop devices along with related accessories and options available. As many of you are aware, there are no incentive funds this year, but we still have the same great discounts as in the past.

How to Track Student Testing Status in eDIRECT
The Student Status Dashboard is a new enhancement in eDIRECT for the Spring 2017 testing season. This dashboard can help track student testing status throughout the testing window. The dashboard allows eDIRECT users to view the
testing status of students for school-level sites. Users will be able to filter to a school-level site and administration for which they have access.
