Worship with is this Sunday - Traditional Worship at 9:30am and/or Informal Worship at 11am! Our scripture passages are Psalm 23; John 10:1-10; Acts 2:42-47 with a sermon entitled
Spirit Math. We are focused on the early church in this post-Easter time! The way the community lives together adds, subtracts, multiplies or divides the presence of the Holy. How are we being like the Early Church?

Celebrate the sacrament of communion at our open table.

THANK YOU : A Heartfelt thanks to Parkway!
I underwent ankle surgery on January 10 of this year to replace my right ankle that I had badly broken almost 20 years ago. The support from the Parkway UCC family was very impressive, with cards, phone calls, meals and a volunteer (John Ruiz) to take over a major project while I was unable to handle it myself. Every Sunday while I was unable to attend church Barbara would come home and say, "Everyone was asking about you." Thanks from Barbara and me for all your support. What a great family we have at Parkway Church. - Pete Eggebrecht

Very powerful ... please take less than 5 minutes to watch this. It's called 'Worlds Apart'.
[Yes, we realize it's produced by a beer company...]

INSPIRATION : The house of the Lord, where we hope to dwell both on earth and in heaven, brings together all of the human family-the ones we like, the ones who are like us, and the ones we fear, especially the ones we believe are not like us. We humans draw these lines readily, in our families and in nations, often to our peril. Jesus knows that it may be a saving grace when an "enemy" like the Samaritan crosses the road to rescue a Jewish man left for dead, bringing first aid and underwriting the cost of his ongoing health care. ~unknown

JOKE : I used to be in a band, we were called 'lost dog'. You probably saw our posters.
