Spring Blood Drive:  Please Donate Blood To Help a Child!
April 28, 8:30 am - 12:15 pm

On Friday, April 28, Lenski will host its Spring Blood Drive to benefit Children's Hospital from 8:30 am - 12:15 pm. The blood donation process takes about 30-45 minutes total from arrival, paperwork, a brief interview, to the actual blood draw. Donors should try to eat something beforehand. We will have snacks available after your donation. Please know that 30 minutes of your time could mean a lifetime to a child in need!

You may be eligible to donate blood if you:
  • Are in good health
  • Have not donated blood in the last 56 days
  • Are symptom free of a cold or flu
  • Are at least 18 years of age, or 17 with written parental consent
  • Weigh at least 110 pounds
  • Have not delivered a baby in the last six weeks
  • Have no history of, or risk factors for, HIV/AIDS
  • Have not had any tattoos or body piercings within the last year
  • Have not traveled to a malaria risk area within the last year
  • Answer a series of medical history/lifestyle questions which determine eligibility
  • Please remember to bring your Government Issued ID (driver's license or passport) to each donation

Lenski's Field Days Almost Here!  Parent Volunteers Appreciated!

Lenski's Field Days are almost here!  This fun tradition includes parent involvement - so please be certain to sign up for a volunteer spot!!

Parent Volunteer Opportunities:
  • Volunteer for a 1 ½ hour time slot on field day and participate with your student for the rest of the day or volunteer on the field day your child is not attending.
  • Volunteer on field day for 1½ hours of set-up before the events start.
  • Volunteer on a day before field day (help line the fields, organize equipment, sort prizes, count ribbons etc.) To help on Saturday 5-13-17 use 3-5th's Field Day sign-up link, and to help on Tuesday 5-16-17 use 1st & 2nd's Field Day sign-up link. 
  • You may sign up for multiple shifts, will receive an email confirmation of your selection(s) and a future email with event instructions.

CMAS Assessment Testing Details:  3rd - 5th Grade
Beginning April 3rd, students across Colorado will take the Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) .  In grades 3-5, students will take the English Language Arts and Mathematics assessments which measure student knowledge of these content standards.  In grade five, students will also be assessed in the science Colorado Academic Standards

These statewide assessments are considered an assessment of all students and are a part of our school accreditation and federal requirements.   Make-up tests will be needed for those absent; therefore, we request that you please try to avoid medical/dental and other appointments during testing times.  Here is the Lenski schedule for testing:

The Village Preschool Still Accepting Registrations!

Registration is still open for the Littleton Public Schools "The Village".  Both Village preschools (The Village at North and The Village at Ames) accept children ages 3 and 4.  Three-hour morning and afternoon classes available, as well as all-day options.  District Child Find Team provides assessments and arranges for services for children with special education needs.  Head Start and Colorado Preschool Program provide funded preschool for those who qualify.  Click here for the Village website and click here to view the registration flyer.
