Your Invitation to the Valsesia River Festival 2017
|
Do you want to go Steep Creeking, enjoy Italian food and love paddling?
If so, we'll bring all those great things together in one place this spring, the Valsesia River Festival. Plus with the later snow melt this year, late May is probably going to be the best time to paddling in Valsesia for 2017.
We offer a River Festival for ALL paddlers; we have races for the competitive, clinics for the aspiring, entertainment for the cruisers and a safety test for those wishing to be solid white water paddlers.
Lastly we welcome, Palm Equipment, Sweet Protection and il Gatto e la Volpe Camping to our event, as the key sponsors.

Valsesia, home to the best spring steep creeking in Europe with it's smooth granite bedrock slides and drops, plus boulder garden rapids a plumb. Valsesia is also home to Gene17's

trips.
If you wish simply to come and enjoy this great destination, hang out and have fun at the event, you're welcome.

Valsesia River Festival BOOKING, is now open. We have options for everyone, if you want to do the whole festival, clinics, races & party, get the FULL PASS, if you wish to paddle with friends and just camp, get the Festival PASS, if you wish to just compete in the Saturday Races and Party, we have a Saturday Only PASS too.
The Festival Pass is 20€, all the Races, Friday Night at the Movies and the Saturday Night Party.

GENE17KAYAKING FESTIVAL CLINICS & GROUP OFFER
|
|
At the Festival, we'll offer a host of coaching clinics with Gene17's leading coaches & instructors.
The
Coaching Clinics will be delivered by the likes of Gene17's Jakub Sedivy & Simon Westgarth. These will be Technique Training on how to run steep drops, slides and rapids, plus all the tools to manage the descent. This clinics are scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Sunday during the Festival.
- Any 4 paddlers for the price of 3 on any day clinic with Gene17.

Palm Equipment invites you to their
Throwbag Olympics
, with a short training session in throw bag safety with a focus on precision and technique, followed by a fun race through a series of challenges against other paddlers.
Nick Horwood & Paul Robertson from Team Palm will lead the contest in Campertogno.
Famed for their informative yet easy style, The boys will take you through a great safety session, with lots of prizes including the new Palm FXr PFD for the fastest of the Valsesia River Festival.
The Palm Throwbag Olympics is FREE for all Festival goers.

invites you to a knock out fight on the river!
We celebrate the Sweet Rumble with a fierce, but fun competition on Saturday evening. It'll be great to watch, and even better to race on.
