Parent Referral Program
If you know a friend, family member or anyone looking for a high-quality, Christ-centered education for their children who do not already attend a Catholic school, you could receive a $50 credit toward your child's tuition at York Catholic, with a chance to win a $500 credit.

York Catholic's Parent Referral Program is a win-win for everyone involved. Referred students receive an outstanding education from York Catholic, while parents of the referred families get peace of mind knowing their child is gaining so much more than just a top-notch education.  Families who refer someone who registers at York Catholic receive a $50 credit towards their child's tuition.

You, as parents, are our best ambassadors.   In order for the Parent Referral Program to be a success, we need information about individuals who may be interested in joining the York Catholic family. All you need to do is click here to fill out the form. During the registration process, if you are listed as the referring individual for a friend or other enrolling individual, we will credit your child 's account with $50.  In May, one family who referred someone who enrolled at YC will be randomly selected to win a $500 tuition credit.

It really is that simple. So go ahead. Please click on the link above and allow us the opportunity to do what we love - help to develop, nurture and encourage children so they may grow in faith, mind, and heart. Mail or email the form to us and we will take it from there!

Thank you for all you do for our school!
Mission Collection:  Leiser Scholarship
Our final mission collection during homeroom on Wednesday, May 10, will be donated to the Stephen M. Leiser Memorial Scholarship Fund.  This is a scholarship that a member of the senior class of 2017 will receive for their education at a college or vocational/technical school.

Mr. Leiser was a dedicated science teacher at York Catholic for 23 years, and had a great influence on many of his senior students.  He battled cancer during his last year of teaching, and passed away ten years ago.  Mr. Leiser's family created the Stephen M. Leiser Scholarship in his memory and usually attends the senior awards assembly to personally present this award.  Please help to keep Mr. Leiser's spirit alive by your contribution to this mission collection.

Senior Scholarship Offers
All Seniors were asked to take all of their acceptance letters and scholarship award letters to Mrs. Gick in the Career Room by tomorrow, May 5, for inclusion in the graduation booklet.  We will make a copy for you and you can keep the original.  This information is also used for our school statistics.  We will honor their accomplishments by acknowledging the acceptances and scholarships at various functions and celebrations at the end of the school year.  Seniors can also find their name on the bulletin board outside of the Career Room once their college/scholarship information has been received. We are proud of our seniors!
Junior Photos Needed
Junior Ring Day will be Tuesday, June 6, a day of celebrating the junior class moving up to be leaders of the school. As part of that celebration, a Powerpoint presentation is being put together to include not only pictures from this year, but also photos from the entire journey of these fine young men and women from their very early years. If you have any photos to add to this Powerpoint, please email them to Mrs. Woodard at  [email protected] . If these are paper photos, please have your son or daughter drop them off to Mrs. Woodard, room 109, in a clear zip lock plastic bag with your name on the photos and the bag. Please submit these photos by Friday, May 19. Thank you for helping in this project.
