Sonia's Newest LA Times Article
Sunday, April 23rd

Sonia's newest LA Times piece addresses three pressing questions as the U.S. debates building The Wall:

What works?
What doesn't?
And how much is it going to cost?

Sonia walks readers through the investments the U.S. can and should make not only to reduce unlawful migration, but get at the heart of why most people are now coming to the U.S. illegally. Drawing from her time researching and bearing witness to the atrocities, as well as those people and programs making progress in counteracting violence, in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, Sonia shares her convictions as to how to best help, not only the citizens of this region, but the U.S.'s best interests.

Don't miss the article in the LA Times today!

Sonia has previously introduced readers to one man that is helping reduce violence and help children and communities in Honduras, Pastor Daniel Pacheco (pictured below). She is excited to host him as he visits to attend a gang prevention conference in Los Angeles next week. There will be many stories to share about his work and how to make progress in places like Honduras.
