Seminar Description
This seminar is all about using simple science and engineering principles to help you prepare for the inevitable flooding a building might experience. Flood waters don't always come from stormwater-a busted water pipe floods a building just as stormwater does. Attendees will learn how to prepare for and respond to a flood - as well as how to avoid mold. It is a fast paced, action packed six hour seminar where you'll learn how to identify potential problems in advance, design to avoid problems, collaborate with the remediation and general contractor and subcontractors, benchmark and measure performance, and teach (using the results from the benchmarking and measurements) everyone on the jobsite to avoid defects and mold growth. Discussion and presentation will be specific to management of building construction issues and integrated management systems to solve and prevent problems.
