By the grace of God and the faithful generosity of hundreds of parishioners like you, we exceeded our pledge goal of $2.2 million for 2017. One of the most important gifts we receive through life in the church is an awareness of being connected to one another, to those beyond, and to God who is the giver of all life. When you and I act in generosity, we find ourselves moving closer to the abundant life Christ promises.
We did not advertise a numeric goal but the stewardship committee, vestry, and I were aiming for a ten percent increase over last year's pledge amount. We reached our goal - the first time we've done so in at least ten years.
We have not yet met our participation goal of one hundred percent - with every household pledging. It's not too late to join the party and make your pledge. We budget on a fiscal calendar so your pledge today will embolden us for a greater ministry in the season ahead.
