eNews Update | Spring 2017 | www.clean-economy.org |
California's clean economy business leaders have been hard at work this year to educate policymakers and the public about how our state's clean energy and climate policies are helping to create jobs and economic growth that significantly contribute to making our state the 6th biggest economy in the world.
Cap-and-Trade is one of the programs that has been an effective tool for reducing emissions while creating clean energy investment capital for communities across the state.
The Alliance has joined with a coalition of leading business groups to sign a
Statement of Principles
demonstrating strong support for extending the Cap-and-Trade program. Together these groups collaborate with thousands of large and small businesses from various sectors that collectively employ hundreds of thousands of Californians.
Please
let us know if you and your company are interested in supporting our education initiatives around Cap-and-Trade.
The Business Alliance was proud to help sponosr the annual CoolCalifornia Small Business Awards held earlier this year. You can learn more about the program and the most recent business recipients
