December Newsletter, Happy New Year 
2017 is coming to an end and what a year is has been. We hope you've had a great year and an even better holiday season with family and friends. we've been working on many different things this month, all while getting ready to host both sides of the family for christmas. most of our jobs were, hanging selves or art and installing handrails for people hosting senior relatives.
Tip of the Month: Windshield De-icer

With this winter looking like it's going to be a cold one we thought it'd be a good idea to put this 2 ingredient de-icer into the world. The best part about it is most of you probably have these ingredients in your home.

Upcycling 101: The Final Saga


The final chapter of Upcycling 101 is here through this journey we've looked at many different materials and ways to repurpose them. We found this funky project while looking for rakes online at loveinamasonjar.com (it's amazing what you find on the internet if you go deep enough) any way  the way the rake is attached to the handle will limit the methods in which it can be can be hung, and with the number of rakes out there the instructions would be endless. However there is always one instruction that stays the same... wash the rake before you hang your utensils on it. Enjoy.


NEW Efficiency Rebates 

The Ontario government has put out a new rebate program for energy efficient renovations. Although these are not the type of job we do at My Go-2-Guy, we feel it is our duty as people in the industry to get the word out and help as many people as can take advantage. There is one thing to be aware of when it comes to these rebatable renovation. They must be completed by a participating contractor. which you can find through the Green Ontario Fund link below. These rebates are some of biggest in a long time, so if you've been thinking of getting some new windows, more insulation, an air or geo thermal heat pump, there hasn't been a better time to save.
