Happy New Year!

A new year is not only a clean slate to start anew, but more importantly, an opportunity to reflect on the year past.   Did your business or organization reach goals or performance measures that were set?  What worked best?   What should you do differently going forward?   No matter the size of the organization, goals are critical to success.  It helps managers and human resource professionals identify priorities and put measures in place to attain such goals.   Personally and professionally, we all need something to look forward to, to help us continue forward with purpose.   With affordable, quality programming, CCHRA can help businesses and individuals achieve goals.

As I look at the year ahead, I, with the Board of Directors, will be looking at what goals should be set for our Association.   In general, my most important goal is membership, from serving and retaining the members we have, to growing our membership.  As a current or past member of the Association, I encourage you to reach out to me or other members of the Board to provide us with your thoughts on goals for the Association.

We have lots of new and exciting programs coming up.  I hope to see each of you at a meeting.

As a point of information, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services has released an updated Form I-9 dated 11/14/16.   Go to https://www.uscis.gov/i-9 for more information and to download Form I-9.

Best,

TOTAL REWARDS & COMPENSATION BASICS

Presented by Pamela Sande, CCP, Managing Principal, Pamela Sande & Associates, LLC, a Human Resources consulting firm that provides HR consulting and outsourcing services to small and mid-size businesses located in the Cape Cod, South Shore, and Metro South regions.

For most companies, compensation is the single largest expense they have, and if designed well, compensation plays a significant role in helping a company attract, motivate, and retain the talent required for a business to be successful.  Join us for  CCHRA's first program of the 2017 year, featuring total rewards and compensation basics.  Topics covered in this program include total reward strategies for attracting and retaining top talent; base pay program fundamentals, design options and market pricing (including survey data basics); and variable pay program fundamentals.
