SEASON XIX
UNDER CONSIDERATION
  • William Shakespeare's ROMEO & JULIET (The Silver Edition). The tale of star-crossed lovers, this time most uniquely staged in a small community, produced by a unique and remarkable acting company reuniting after many years for one last final performance. This special R&J conveys the universal truths of this timeless (ageless) classic.
  • Shakespeare's THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR. The play that launched Moose Hall Theatre Company in northern Manhattan returns in all its spectacular comic splendor.
  • Anton Checkhov's THE CHERRY ORCHARD. Checkhov's final comic/dramatic masterpiece: a bittersweet study of Russia's elite as it adjusts to rapid social changes at the turn of the 20th century.
  • Aristophanes' LYSISTRATA: How one woman stopped the Peloponnesian War between Athens and Sparta. A timeless bawdy anti-war comedy.
  • Staged readings.
  • Acting workshops.
This season we were thrilled to bring you DRACULA! THE TALE OF FLESH AND BLOOD for Halloween 2017. And did you know that they say: the Undead is only the beginning!

For 18 continuous years, Moose Hall has been producing vibrant theatre and music at our community base in beautiful Inwood Hill Park, northern Manhattan. This year, we've made the move downtown: what better location in which to start afresh and keep our tradition of great performance alive and well?

Thank you for your support. Whether you are old friend or new, I look forward to seeing you at our next production!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
