Taming Monkey Brain

Finding it hard to concentrate, your mind jumping from one distraction to another? By incorporating mindfulness and awareness tactics into your life you can become the director of your thought process and tame monkey brain. In this hands-on workshop you’ll learn how to rewire your brain, refocus your awareness and painlessly incorporate these techniques into your life.

Co-taught with Melanie Cloud, Therapist

Melanie Cloud is a native Kansan dedicated to promoting healing and wholeness in Wichita and the surrounding area. At EMPAC, Melanie provides therapy for individuals, couples and families. Her genuine, accepting spirit coupled with empathetic understanding allows her to provide a haven where clients can safely explore, uncover and re-discover their own internal strengths.

Melanie graduated from Friends University with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She assists clients who are exploring issues such as spirituality, family dynamics, depression and anxiety. Melanie enjoys helping clients establish workplace boundaries, cope with job-related stress, and thoughtfully consider potential job or career changes.

Classes are $35 each and include a workbook, badge and shop local goodie bag.

Tickets are nonrefundable; however they are transferable to someone else if you can't make it to class.
