Join us at the 8th Annual Cleveland African Dance & Drum Festival Weekend 
held at both Cleveland School of the Arts and the Breen Performing Arts Center.

This year's event will project how giving light can be a solution to many of our communal, personal, and collective dark areas. Djapo's theme, "Lerale Yon Wi" lighting the way, will undoubtedly enhance the lives of family, self, and community interlacing a theatrical infusion of dance, poetry, drumming and song from June 17th to June 18th.

Saturday night features our Juneteenth concert performance choreographed and produced by noted artist, choreographer and dancer, Talise Campbell.  Cleveland's own Djapo Cultural Arts will join master teachers and area performers for a moving tribute in celebration of our continuing legacy, conceivable through the light that we are, we give and that we share.
