  BeSpoke Voices - VocaliD

There are tens of millions worldwide who are unable to speak due to cerebral palsy, autism, Rett syndrome, ALS, head/neck cancer and many other conditions. To communicate, they rely on alternative augmentative communication (AAC) devices to speak on their behalf but the devices all come with the same handful of voices. This means that several AAC users can be in the same space, speaking with the same voice.  It is even possible for a child to be given the voice of an adult. We wouldn't dream of fitting a little girl with the prosthetic limb of a grown man so why then the same prosthetic voice?

At VocaliD we believe that every voice deserves to be heard as someone's unique voice and have made it our mission to personalize the voice inside any machine that speaks.
