 The Amazing Power of Creative Visualization
From childhood, we absorb many attitudes about the nature of reality. Most of these attitudes, which we learn from our parents, teachers, friends, and society in general, are for our own survival and to our benefit. But some of these attitudes and beliefs, if left unexamined, might produce a pernicious negative mindset.
For example, many people fear the darkness. and yet "Darkness" doesn't exist in reality as a discrete and solid entity. Darkness is the absence of light. All you have to do to dispel darkness is to turn on a light.
This holds true for all those things associated, spiritually and emotionally, with darkness: unhappiness, poverty, evil, and loneliness. Many people see these conditions as real and terrible things ruining their lives, and work very hard at eliminating them from their lives. Medications and treatments for depression and anxiety are part of a billion-dollar business. Self-help gurus cash in on the fountain of human misery by offering quick-fixes and promises of a better life. People drown their sorrows in alcohol, or seek escape in the euphoria of drugs or sex.
However, like a candle guttering in the dark night, none of these keeps the darkness away for long.
The reason it's so difficult to banish these things from our lives is because None of these things exist in reality. You can not find any of them existing intrinsically. Trying to destroy these "things" is like fighting ghosts.
There's another way of looking at these "dark" matters. Unhappiness is the absence of happiness. Poverty is the absence of prosperity. Loneliness is the absence of connections. Evil is the absence of good.
To dispel darkness you turn on a light.
There's a mighty Spiritual Power that operates, unseen, behind all existing phenomenon. it is this Power that brought all things into existence. Some call this Power God, others refer to it as Divine Mind, the Creative, the High Law. Scientists formulate the laws of physics to explain and try to understand Its workings. All of humanity's endeavours -- religions, philosophies, arts, literature, sciences -- are attempts to express the workings of this inexpressible Power.
To understand this Law, this High Power, isn't possible. But we don't need to understand it to call upon it. We don't need to understand how gravity works to keep from falling off the Earth into space, or to flick a switch and turn on a light. All that's required is to recognize that the Power exists, to seek it, and to draw upon it.
If we ask, we shall receive. This is the lesson every prophet has tried to teach us. If there's no happiness or prosperity or good in our lives, we can draw it in through sincere and persistent Attraction prayer.
We can begin by reciting, and believing, with the aid of a crystal:
"I am a manifestation of the mighty God Power!"
"I am seeking the mighty God Power!"
"I am one with the mighty God Power!"
"I am healthy, prosperous and happy in the Mighty God Power!
"All things come to me through the Mighty God Power!"
Recite these daily, and send them out through your crystal.
What we send out will surely return to us. Good luck!
