This is Seattle's ONLY improv open mic. Each show features multiple two-person teams doing what they do best: creating spontaneous scenes on the fly that are so hilarious, quick-witted and perfectly constructed, it's hard to believe they are made up on the spot.

Thurs. Matryoshka: Everything is Game, 8:30 $10

Matryoshka is a fun improv about relationships The fun starts the moment you walk through the door of the heater. You'll meet a  team of improvisers in the lobby, chat with them in pre-show interviews and give them individual inspiration for the characters and the types of relationships you'll see on stage. That means hilarious scenes, games, and monologues starring a completely unique cast of characters each night. By the show's end, the improvisers reveal which audience member was their muse and you can head back to the lobby for a post-show drink with the cast.

Fr. & Sat. Improv Happy Hour 7:00 $10

Happy Hour is a sampler of several styles of improv all packed into one show, from movie, literature, or play genres to experimental and risky comical improv forms! All content is based on audience suggestions so expect unexpected fun!.

Fri./Sat.  Outer Rim: An Improvised Space Western 8:30 $15

We are headin' out into the far reaches of the galaxy in O uter Rim: An Improvised Space Western. Inspired by Cowboy Bebop, Borderlands and Firefly, this hilariously improvised show follows the wild crew of the space ship Epiphany. From helping old friends to defeating new enemies on a forgotten planet, your suggestions will fuel their outrageous adventures through outer space.

Sun. Piggyback: Stand Up and Improv Comedy Unite  8:30 $10

Stand-up comedy and improv are usually two separate types of comedy that you won't see in the same show, but Unexpected Productions' Piggyback brings them both together so you can enjoy two types of comedy in one hilarious night. First, a professional comedian will perform their stand-up routine, then talented improv artists will create a narrative story in a particular genre of film or literature. The story created will be inspired by the material from the stand-up act. Piggyback has been featured at Bumbershoot, the Washington Comedy Festival, and the Highlarous Comedy Festival
