Dear Parents,

As we move closer to the Holy Week of Easter, it is important to take time to reflect on the meaning of Christ's death and resurrection. Christ ultimately died for each of us so that we could have eternal life in Heaven.

All Christians must endure crosses and bear them just as Jesus did.  When we do this it unites us with Christ and we join Jesus in the act of our own redemption. Let us remember that we are never alone. Jesus is along side of us to help us carry our crosses. All we have to do is ask Him for what we need and have faith that He will provide.

Quote from Pope Francis:

"Even if we may be men and women of little faith, the Lord saves us. We must always have hope in the Lord!"

Faithfully yours,

Miss Giaquinto

Dear Parents,

Spring has just begun and here are just a few reminders as we move closer to the end of this school year.
  • Water Bottles: Please take a moment to check your child's backpack/lunch box and locate their water bottle. If their water bottle has been misplaced, appears cracked or does not look like it will last until the end of June, now is a good time to replace it. As the weather warms up, it is very important for your child to have their own water bottle and remain hydrated while at school.
  • Ticks/Lyme Prevention:   The grounds at school will be treated for Ticks, however, please continue to inspect your child after being outdoors and make this a part of your daily routine.
  • Medications: Please remember to touch base with the nurse if your child needs their medication before recess and or PE. All medications must be replaced prior to the expiration date. Please send in a replacement ASAP.

Please report all absences to me at (203) 377-7041 or email: [email protected]

Tips to Stay Healthy:
  • Wash your hands frequently with soap & water or use Purell/hand sanitizer.
  • If your child is sick, keep him/her home from school.
  • Cover coughs and sneezes.
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth.
  • DO NOT share food or drinks with others.
  • Stay away from people who are sick.
Reminder ~ Nut-Free Zone: Please remember that all class rooms are Nut-Free Zones. Please Do Not send in any foods that contain NUTS or processed in a facility with nuts.  If your child eats foods prior to school that contain nuts, please have them wash their hands, face and brush teeth/rinse mouth prior to arrival.

Thank you for your cooperation and helping to keep our school community healthy!
