Class Updates - Training

Students in the Fire Tech class have been practicing at the Fremont Fire Department Tactical Training Center on Stevenson Blvd. Some of the skills they have been developing have involved various hose drills, search and rescue, ladder drills, ropes and knots, and hose deployment.



Class Updates - Gomes Elementary School

Some Fire Tech students volunteered their time to read to the students at Gomes Elementary School and took the opportunity to wow the students with the fire truck and educate them about the equipment and gear. The elementary students were excited to meet the Fire Tech students and even more excited to receive their very own firefighter hat!

Special Events

Fire Tech and EMR students represented their classes again this year at the 2nd Annual Glenmoor Gardens Oktoberfest and C hili Cook-Off at Meyer Park in Fremont which included showing off the fire engine and promoting their classes to the community participants which drew a large crowd of over 500 attendees.

Get involved by hosting a field trip or come in the classroom and be a guest speaker.
