Equal Pay Day
This year, April 4 marked Equal Pay Day, the symbolic day of when a women's earnings "catch up" to men's earnings from the previous year. On average, women are paid 20% less than men, and Black and Hispanic women are paid even less, according to LeanIn.org.

Money Smart Week

The Women's Fund is proud to once again support Money Smart Week Fox Cities. This national public awareness campaign was created by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago in 2002 and is designed to help consumers better manage their personal finances.
The public is welcome to participate in two local public events:
Tuesday, April 25 - Fox Cities Celebration (three events)
Saturday, April 29 - The Big Read featuring Mercer Mayer's Little Critter book, Just Saving My Money

Do Something! Day
Save the Date - June 15, 2017
Know a student who is interested in giving back and learning more about how to make a difference in their community? They may be interested in joining us on June 15 for Do Something! Day. This co-ed workshop is recommended for students entering grades 8-10 in the fall of 2017. More information and registration information coming soon.
