The students at LCE were able to show off all the great things they are doing at school and the Clear Falls baseball team spoke about why League City is a great place to live. Campuses across the District celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week from May 1-5. We are thankful for the countless contributions our CCISD teachers put in to help our students and our schools succeed!

A Falcon Pass Elementary student won the lunch of a lifetime when he had the chance to eat with former NASA Astronaut Mark Polansky as part of a school carnival auction item. 

Monday through Friday, 281 child nutrition employees across the district serve about 34,000 meals each day. The National Education Association celebrates the role that each of these school nutrition professionals plays in schools with students throughout the year, but especially during School Nutrition Employee Week (May 1-5) and on School Lunch Hero Day (May 5). Their days begin early and much of the staff works well until 3 and 4 p.m. That includes preparing healthy meals, adhering to strict nutrition standards, and navigating food allergies, according to the School Nutrition Association. CCISD appreciates the hard work our child nutrition employees put in each day for our students' food for thought!
