Stroll the magnificent gardens and then be sure to gaze up at the dazzling 1,000 bloom chrysanthemum —  a single plant —  along with once-in-a-lifetime towering Ikebana bamboo arrangements and thousands of blooming chrysanthemums throughout the Conservatory that have been crafted by national and international masters.
Note: Lunch is on your own on Saturday. Options include: The Café, which is casual and modestly priced; and 1906 Longwood, a full-serve restaurant that is more expensive, requires a reservation and cannot accommodate a large group. Smaller groups are suggested.
Make a weekend of your trip and come friends and family to enjoy many of the autumn activities that are taking place in the Brandywine Valley.
