Hello green infrastructure fans, As Earth (and Landscape Architecture) Month comes to a close, we hope you were involved in some type of engaging activity during April which honored or stood up for our one and only planet - the only global ecosystem option we have as humans. And don't forget the upcoming People's Climate March this Saturday, April 29! Of course, we've been busy with our 2017 Greenroofs & Walls of the World™ Virtual Summit: Connecting the Planet + Living Architecture ~ People, Projects & Design, but our oldest son, Joey Velazquez - soon to be starting law school in Washington, DC - participated in the March for Science Earth Day 2017 - watch for his upcoming video. We've just finished our first live event at the 2017 Virtual Summit Speaker Q & As over the Long Earth Day Weekend. A little over a third of our Speakers participated on Facebook Live, and it sure was interesting! At times amazingly awesome, others a bit frustrating as we had to depend on the whim of the fickle Internet gods. But it was super cool and we had some excellent interaction from all sorts of attendees and viewers from across the U.S., London, and Tel Aviv. Most of these were recorded, and we'll make them available. Others we'll do over, along with some of our remaining speakers who weren't able to participate last week - plus new ones. The main takeaway here is that the 2017 Greenroofs & Walls of the World™ Virtual Summit is just starting and we'll be adding new speakers and videos - along with new platforms for live events - throughout 2017! Register to join in the fun for only $50 or $25 and visit the Expo to learn more about all of our wonderful Partners, below. And, stay tuned for Round #2 of our Live Virtual Summit Event! |
