LIBRARY NEWS

This Weekend!
The Wisdom of Peanuts

Saturday, April 29
2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

What is the Wisdom of Peanuts?
Introduced 67 years ago as Charlie Brown and Snoopy,
the strip is still widely enjoyed today, appearing in over
2500 newspapers in 66 countries.

Join us to get some answers to such questions as:
Who was Charles Schulz and where did he get his inspiration? Why is the strip still so popular?
What are some of the themes he uses in the strip,
and what role do each of the characters play?

The program will be presented by John Proctor, charter member
of the Charles Schulz Museum and the East Coast Collectors group,
who has been collecting the beloved cartoon Peanuts memorabilia
and learning about the work of Charles Schulz for many years,
and will be sharing this information with us.

This program is free and open to the public aged 12 and over.
