Prom After Party
Come one come all to the Grace Prep Post Prom Party!
As in years past, a post prom party will be held for all Grace Prep students and their approved prom guests. This years party will be held at the home of Anna and Jack Haris and Madi A. It will be held from 11pm 5/13 to 10am 5/14. Students are welcome to come straight from the prom. Parents are welcome to pick up their students any time that suits them, but for safety reasons students will not be allowed to leave on their own after 1am.

There will be food, including breakfast, bonfire, games, just dance and other surprises. There will be separate sleeping floors for ladies and gentlemen. A week before the event a Sign-up will be sent out for food contributions. Students are welcome to bring a change of clothes (or are welcome to hang out in Prom attire) and a sleeping bag.
Please have your student RSVP by Monday 5/8.

Any questions please contact Jarrod Sechler or Hillary Haris,
[email protected] or  814-321-3199.
It's Almost Soccer Season
Soccer is just around the corner!  Grace Prep will be requiring PIAA CIPPE physical forms in addition to the Grace Prep general student physical form, so if your student plans on competing in any sport, you will need to fill out that paperwork. Sports physicals are $30 through Med Express but physicals have to occur after June 1st to count for the next year. The forms will be sent out at a later time

We are looking for a parent to take over the responsibility of concession stand during home games. We are also looking for someone to be in charge of organizing packed lunches to away games during soccer season. This will not only feed the kids healthier food typically, it also gets us home earlier which is a huge plus! Click here to get this year's schedule.
Off-Season Basketball

Current and potential Grace Prep boys basketball players are invited to join with our partners at St. Joseph's for off-season basketball. Sessions are held Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:30 - 9:00  at the SJCA gym and involve some skill development and informal games. No need to RSVP, just show up whenever you're available! Contact Coach Gindhart if you have any questions at

Kids Can Exercise Their Mind and Body this Summer at Grace Prep

Our Chemistry and Engineering teacher Ray Regan is hosting two LEGO Robotics camps for the fifth consecutive year at Stepping Stones Church/Grace Prep High School during the week from Monday, June 26th to Friday, June 30th, 2017. A WeDo Robotics camp is offered for students entering grades K-3 and Mindstorms for students entering grades 3-8.

This year, he is partnering with Soccer Shots on the WeDo Robotics. Parents can sign up child for WeDo Robotics starting at 9am and pick up their child after Soccer Shots at 12 noon. Registration for the Soccer Shots program can be done at their website  www.soccershots.org and then search for the Stepping Stones camp.

Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program with a focus on character development. Our caring team positively impacts children's lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum and communication.
Jumping Scrip?

You can on these Dates:

Order 5/8 - Pickup 5/11
Order 5/22 - Pickup 5/25

Interested in signing up for Scrip? Please contact Jean at  [email protected] .

My wife and I have been using the Scrip program when our children were at Nittany Christian and have been using it since its inception at Grace Prep. Here is a short list of the benefits that we have found with the program:

- Buying gift cards helps you to budget and plan for your expenses. You know what you are spending and don't fall into the trap of excessive credit card spending.
- Buying gift cards from the numerous companies on Scrip is a great way to give Christmas and birthday presents.
- Planning a major home improvement project or appliance purchase, why not buy Scrip cards for Lowe's, Home Depot or Sears for example?
- For years while our children were attending Nittany Christian and Grace Prep we used the Scrip percentage that was attributed to us the purchaser to help pay for our children's tuition (a big help when you are sending four children through private school).
- Now that are children have all graduated we still purchase Scrip gift cards and donate the Scrip percentage back to the school and receive a tax deduction for the donation. What an easy way to bless the school by simply purchasing gift cards for necessities such as groceries and gas.

Grace and peace,
Bryan and Stacy Spang
