Your Duck Adoption Can Change a Life

Kids in our community need your help. 

Every day, we meet children who are hurting. Kids whose lives have been thrown into chaos. Children who simply need a safe place to stay and someone to believe in them.

Your duck adoption can be the difference in their life.

When you adopt a duck, you help YESS go beyond the basics of a warm bed at night and yummy meals every day.  During one of the hardest times in their young life, your donation  fills a child's day with laughter, healing, and hope.  Here is what your duck adoption means to a child in shelter:
  • 1 Duck - A full day of meals and snacks 
  • 6 Ducks - Warm bedding and instant comfort 
  • 12 Ducks - Joy and encouragement through art therapy
  • 25 Ducks - Shoes, school supplies, or a coat when it's needed most

T he Most Spec-QUACK-ular  Event of the Year
Saturday, May 6th at Jordan Creek Town Center
The fun starts at Noon. The ducks race at 2pm.

Once you've adopted your ducks, be sure to join the fun on race day! Admission is free and, starting at noon, you and your family can enjoy:
  • Inflatables, facepainting, games, and outdoor activities for all ages
  • Live performances
  • Appearances from superheros, mascots, and Quacky
  • Handouts and prize giveaways from event sponsors
  • Free food samples from local restaurants
At 2pm, your "lucky ducks" will race across the Jordan Creek Town Center lake. Will you be the one to take home $10,000 cash? Come watch the main event and cheer your ducks on to victory!


Thank You for Voting YESS

Thank you so much for "voting YESS" in the Opus Group Building Community Award challenge.  We ended up taking home 2nd place (and a $1,000 donation), with Team YESS providing nearly 10,000 votes for kids in our community.
 
We were truly amazed at the number of people who stepped up to vote and rally behind the kids in our care. Every vote, social media post, and email showed your commitment to helping children find brighter futures. For that, we are incredibly grateful.
