Grad Fair:  May 2 and 3,10 AM - 6 PM at the Bookstore; celebrate with friends while you get information about caps and gowns, senior portraits, announcements, class rings, and much more

Grad Night:  May 30, 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the Bookstore; Grad Fair vendors plus giveaways, free food, prizes, music and fun. 

Step 2: Purchase Your Cap and Gown

Now that you're graduating, you will need to dress the part! After registering for commencement, click the "Order Cap and Gown" button on the registration site to order your commencement regalia. Select our basic cap and gown Grad Pack or bundle and save with our Silver, Gold, or Platinum Triton Grad Packs.

Step 3: Pick Up Your Tickets, Cap, and Gown

Pick up your commencement tickets, cap, gown, and tassel in the Bookstore. Whether you purchased a Grad Pack or basic package online or still need to purchase one, this is the time!

 

Students need to consistently check the Financial Aid website for date(s) to apply for summer financial aid.  Once we know the date, we will make sure to let you know. 

  Apply starting in May. You are encouraged to apply early as limited financial aid is available for summer session. 

Financial Aid students: you may not be dropped for nonpayment, which means if you forget to drop unwanted courses, you may receive a grade of "F" for non-attendance and be billed for the courses.

* Note: If you are  academically disqualified after Spring Quarter and are denied an appeal for reinstatement, Academic Advising will cancel your Summer Session 2 courses. You will be billed for summer financial aid if the cancellation results in less than 6 units enrollment for Summer Session.

Summer Session Financial Aid - available on a first come, first served basis.

 Her talk, "The Future of Feminism," is the culminating event in a year-long series held in honor of the 20th anniversary of the UC San Diego Women's Center. The event is free and open to the campus and local community

 

Wilson is executive director of Women, Action and the Media, an organization committed to achieving gender justice in the media. She has served as a leading voice on feminist and women's rights issues for nearly a decade. Her work has appeared in numerous national outlets, including New York Magazine, CNN, The Today Show, and the Washington Post.

The Salvadoran American Leadership and Educational Fund (SALEF) is an organization in Los Angeles, California that works to promote the civic participation and representation of the Salvadoran and other Latino communities in the U.S. Every year, SALEF awards scholarships to Salvadoran and other Latino students (awards range from $1,000 to $3,000). They recently announced this year's scholarship opportunity. 

Note:  "SALEF Scholarship is open to all qualifying students regardless of immigration status. AB 540 students are encouraged to apply".

The deadline to apply is May 31, 2017
