UPDATE
Hope & Optimism

We wanted to give you an update on the puppies. Liam, the puppy we told you about who needed a transfusion, is doing much better.  Tuesday night we had a scare with Sebastian, the largest puppy, as he was very lethargic and showing some severe parvo symptoms.  We are relieved to report that he is doing better so far today. A couple of the pups still will not eat so the vet techs are syringe feeding them. While the vets reminded us last night that they are not out of the woods, overall with the tremendous care they are getting, we are hopeful that they will all pull through.

We also wanted to thank all of you who have asked about the puppies and who donated to the medical expenses for these puppies.  All the puppies are still in isolation and still receiving quite a bit of supportive care.  This means the expenses will be significant given the medical attention they have received and will continue to receive until they are strong and healthy enough to be moved to foster homes, which we hope will be soon.

If you have not donated and wish to do so, it is of course not too late.  Any amount is greatly appreciated!  Thank you all so much for your support and for all the good wishes you have been sending to these sweet puppies!
