Karen Meyers grew up in South Hill, Virginia and graduated from Park View High School.   She earned her Associate of Applied Science in Administrative Support Technology with Medical Office Specialization from Southside Virginia Community College,

 

Currently employed by Landura Management Associates as a site manager for two apartment complexes, Karen is also a tax professional with H&R Block.  She plans on continuing her education in the near feature, seeking another degree.

Karen reflects on her time at the college, 'I loved my time at SVCC. By the time I left there, everyone felt like family. I only wish I could have done it sooner, but that was the right time for it to happen for me.  SVCC is family and a wonderful place to learn!!"
