Natural Burials - make your last act on earth, make a difference

Curious about how you can leave this world with the least impact on the earth?

Natural burials are an environmentally sustainable option that involves interment in a biodegradable casket or a simple shroud, with the remains returned to the earth naturally.

Hear from Robert Pitt (CEO of Adelaide Cemeteries Authority) about the process of natural burial and the environmental impact of cremation v's burial. He will also talk about the environmental issues and biodiversity values of cemeteries.

Find out how you can express your sustainability values both in life and in death.

Nature Wellness at Belair National Park

If you missed Alex Gaut (Conservation Council SA) talk about Nature Wellness in April, you can still sign up for one of her Nature Wellness experiences.

A Nature Wellness experience combines the benefits of embodied practices with mindfulness, and the benefits of psychology and social connection - all in a natural setting.

With a focus on slowing down and awakening the senses, this restorative wellness practice involves a series of guided invitations to help relax, slow down, become present and make contact with nature. The experience invites room for listening, healing and reflection, for quiet and accepting presence, and for inquiry through all the senses, in a non-judgmental setting.
