Next Shabbat Family Service, Friday, May 5!

Join us for another fun Shabbat family service starting at 6:00 pm with a kid-friendly Preneg (pizza & veggies). At 6:30 pm, song, story and worship will be followed by a birthday celebration and oneg with a certified nut-free option at the dessert table. If you will be attending the preneg, make sure to Preneg RSVP! And save June 2 for the next Shabbat Family Service!
Noah Aronson Concert for TBC Members
Sunday, May 7 at 11:00 am

TBC is hosting Noah Aronson, an internationally acclaimed soulful and energetic
Jewish composer and  performer on Sunday, May 7.  This program is free to all members thanks to generous donations to the Cantor's discretionary fund over the past few years in support of musical programs at TBC.  Please mark your calendars and plan to attend this most special TBC event. Please RSVP so we can plan to accommodate those attending. 

Noah will be teaching our children in the religious school from 9:30- 10:30am followed by a concert for all our school children, their parents, and all TBC members from 11:00am-12:00pm in the TBC sanctuary. Schoke Jewish Family Service Programs and Activities

Schoke Jewish Family Service has a great set of upcoming programs (see below), including support groups for those seeking employment, help with financial fitness, exercises for brain fitness, and others. Schoke can also provide information and eligibility assistance for financial help to purchase food.

SCHOKE JFS COLLEGE AHEAD!, Thursday, May 4th at 7:30 pm at the Stamford J, 1035 Newfield Avenue, Stamford. A panel of college admissions deans will discuss topics of interest to high school students and their parents, moderated by Claire Friedlander, Schoke JFS College Consultant. An Evening with Elayne & James Schoke JFS on Wednesday, May 10th at the Crowne Plaza Stamford Hotel, 2701 Summer Street: 38th Annual Mitzvah Award to the Beldotti Family and Young Leadership Award to Mark Frank. Schoke JFS Brain Fitness Group Program-Tuesday, May 16th at 1pm: Designed for individuals looking to stimulate their brain power with a meaningful experience focusing on insight, reducing stress, inspiring confidence, and providing practical support to help reach personal goals! Come and meet others and participate in some mental exercises to stimulate brain power. Insurance co-pays will be accepted, or $20 fee to attend. Light refreshments will be served. It is traditional to light a memorial candle on the eve of the yahrzeit at home and to recite Kaddish when lighting the yahrzeit candle. It is also a custom to make donations in memory of loved ones around the time of yahrzeit.
