Next Chapter in the City's Development Code
As part of its Next Ten process to update the City’s Comprehensive Land Use Plan and associated development code, the City of Sandy Springs will host an Open House on Monday, May 15, 2017.  The public meeting will take place beginning at 5:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers at City Hall.

The Open House is a continuation of the dialogue the City began with the community related to updating the City’s zoning codes to match the Next Ten Comprehensive Land Use plan that was approved this spring.
During meetings held in March, the City presented the draft map which converts zoning currently in place to new zoning terminology in line with the Next Ten plan.  Comments resulting from the March meetings were reviewed, with updates to the map included as part of the May Open House.  In addition, the City will present the code chapters on development regulations, street design and natural resource protection.
