What People Are Saying About Us!
"OUR HOUSE is a very special place. After my fiancĂ© died I was terrified. I had never felt such pain or isolation. I did not know how I would survive. OUR HOUSE knew that about me the moment I walked in. It was the only place I felt safe. The women that worked with me are angels, for whom I will always be grateful."
Friends & Laughter at the Associate Board's Night for Hope!
Together we raised more than $42,000
that will directly provide HOPE
to grieving children, teens and adults.

Thank you to those who joined us as we remembered the importance of laughter!
How Families Can Cope With Grief During the Holidays
Although a family member or friend has died, your family can still enjoy the holiday season with some advance planning and open communication.  Keep in mind that children look to you as a role model of how to grieve. Set an example of it being okay to talk about your loved one who died. That may be the social cue children are seeking to express their needs during the holiday season. For more ways to make the holidays meaningful when someone you love has died, click  here
#GivingTuesday Results!

On Giving Tuesday, $5,246 was raised to end the grief stigma. Thank you for helping us kick the elephant out of the room and show that it is okay to talk about GRIEF!
Volunteers' Annual Thank You Bruncheon
OUR volunteers are the reason we are able to serve so many people. This holiday season, we paid a special tribute by honoring OUR amazing volunteers and all they do to help grieving hearts heal.
As part of the day's program, mother and daughter pair Lisa and Ally Rodnunsky shared their inspiring stories about being OUR HOUSE group leaders. Thank you!
