Did You Know?
The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (H.R. 244), the federal budget bill released on May 1, includes increases for both the NIH and the Clinical and Translational Science Awards. Both were highlighted as "federal programs that make the best use of every tax dollar." The bill, which is expected to be signed into law by next week, will bump NIH's budget by $2 billion over Fiscal Year 2016
