Lovestitch Opens at City Market South
Apparel company, Lovestitch is now open at City Market South. The LA-based contemporary brand is the second business to open at City Market, following Cognoscenti Coffee. Lovestitch aims to upgrade the shopping experience for wholesale buyers in the Fashion District with a gorgeously merchandised space, ample seating, and access to City Market's amenities. L.A. Conservancy's Last Remaining Seats Kicks Off in the Fashion District June 3rd
The LA Conservancy's signature series, Last Remaining Seats will kick off in the LA Fashion District with a screening of L.A. Confidential at The Orpheum Theatre on Saturday, June. 3. Last Remaining Seats presents films as they were meant to be seen: on the big screen, in a beautiful theatre, surrounded by fellow fans, and accompanied by vintage cartoons, special guests, and more.

Mother's Day in the Fashion District
LA Flower Markets
Mother's Day is the busiest holiday of the year for the district's flower markets. The LA Flower Market and California Flower Mall will have extended hours starting the week of May 8. The LA Flower Market's hours can be found

The California Flower Mall is expected to open 24 hours on Saturday, May 13th through Mother's Day, Sunday, May 14th as it has done in previous years.

Sonoratown Named L.A.'s Favorite Taco

8th Spring Street Towers Update
"Nearly one year after breaking ground at the corner of 8th and Spring Streets, a pair of high-rise apartment towers from Holland Partner Group find themselves halfway to their expected mid-2018 completion dates." Mermaid on Main
Oakland-based artist,
Hueman recently completed a colorful mural at 828 Main St, title "Mermaid on Main." The mural shows the back of a woman's head, her colorful purple mane flowing behind her. It's the artists largest mural to date and the sixth mural to go up in the Fashion District. See it at 9th and Main Streets.
