Save the Date for our annual WPB Neighborhood Guide Release Party! Where Magazine is producing our guide again this year after all the compliments we received on how great it turned out last year. Come out to The Den Theatre, who is helping us celebrate on Thursday, May 4th from 6:30-8:30pm. Local businesses, residents, community partners and Chicagoland concierges are encouraged to attend for a first look at the guide and a night of neighborhood revelry.

NEW Neighborhood Safety & Façade Rebate Programs
WPB SSA #33 now provides rebates for security cameras, exterior lighting, repairing broken or graffiti'd windows, and installing anti-smash or anti-graffiti window film. Businesses in the SSA district are eligible for a rebate of 50% of the cost of a neighborhood safety measure, up to $1,000 per measure.
Additionally, SSA rebates are available for façade improvements, up to $5,000. However, the business or building owner MUST now contact the WPB Chamber and get pre-approval before beginning these improvements.

Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya in Wicker Park has unveiled the April schedule for their popular Japanese anime movie nights. Every Tuesday and Wednesday, Kizuki features a different film beginning at 7 p.m. Upcoming anime movies will include Castle in the Sky on 4/25 and Gundam Evolve on 4/26.
Kizuki has also partnered with a different local charity each week including Meals on Wheels, One Tail at a Time Dog Rescue, and the Children's Place Association.

Green Music Fest 2017 Headliners Announced
Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce and Subterranean are thrilled to announce R&B rocker JD McPherson, alt-country rock group Lucero and alternative rock band July Talk as headlining artists for Chicago's award-winning Green Music Fest in Wicker Park, June 10 and 11, 2017.
