NORTH CENTRAL MICHIGAN COLLEGE AND NORTHWOOD UNIVERSITY PARTNER TO OFFER INNOVATIVE BACHELOR'S DEGREE OPTIONS
North Central Michigan College and Northwood University have partnered to offer expanded bachelor of business administration degree options to students through articulation agreements in Accounting, Computer Information Management, Marketing and Management. These innovative and affordable 3 + 1 degree options give students the unique opportunity to complete three years of study on the North Central Campus, at the North Central tuition rate, and the final year online or on the Northwood campus.
Effective April 24, 2017, the articulation agreement allows North Central students to move seamlessly into the corresponding bachelor's degrees at Northwood. The partnership focuses on student success and defines guided pathways that ensure a seamless transfer process and a maximization of student resources. More ncmich.edu

INSTANT WINE CELLAR SEEKING VOLUNTEERS
Would you like to get in on all of the fun of the Instant Wine Cellar but not pay admission? Volunteer to help us for part of the evening and do just that!
We have a variety of volunteer needs from 6:30-8:30pm or 8:30-10:30pm. Sell raffle tickets, help with the silent auction, do guest admissions or several other activities to help make the night a success.

A significant hurdle organizations often face in our region is recruiting and retaining a skilled workforce. To assist in improving these conditions, Northern Lakes Economic Alliance, Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce and Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians' SEEDS project are conducting a short survey to assist in identifying variables which may promote the recruitment and retention of skilled community members. Therefore, we are kindly asking the regions' workforce to take a few moments and complete the following anonymous survey.

LAKE CHARLEVOIX BREWING COMPANY TO HOLD RELEASE PARTY FOR "SUNDEW STOUT"
We have been busy in the brewery coming up with what will be our very first Nitro beer on tap, the Sundew Stout! What does that mean, you ask? This beer will have a smooth and creamy mouth feel as opposed to your standard beer carbonated with CO2. In addition, it will have a lower perceived bitterness level.
We are throwing a release party for this exciting new beer on Friday, April 28, starting at 5:00pm. As part of this event, we will also be hosting a Cornhole (beanbag tossing game) tournament!

High school students interested in careers in law enforcement/criminal justice can still register for the statewide Baker College Policing Day, Friday, April 28, 2017, 9:30am - 1:00pm, at Baker College's Owosso campus. The registration deadline is Wednesday, April 26.

CHARLEVOIX HISTORICAL SOCIETY PRESENTS FIRST EVENT FOR "DEPOT 125"" MICHIGAN RAILROADS PROGRAM
The Charlevoix Historical Society is presenting the first of six events for 2017 that will mark the 125th anniversary of the arrival of the railroad and construction of the Depot in 1982, when Charlevoix was changed immediately and forever.
New Society Curator Trevor Dotson will narrate a fully illustrated program called "Laying Tracks: Michigan Railroads in the 19th Century," an overview of the railroad's vital importance to Michigan's development as a state.

The Zonta Club of Charlevoix hosts is annual Literary Delights - a Women Author's Luncheon - from 11am-3pm on Saturday, May 20 at the Charlevoix Public Library
